Visual artist, born 1980 in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Works in the village of Uddebo Sweden since 2016, after ten years living in german-speaking countries.

Holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts from HDK-Valand, Gothenburg University 2022.

Her art practice is inspired by activist experiences, D-I-Y ethos and social anthropology. The process consists of research, dialogue and writing parallelled with performances that generate all kinds of sculpture, public events, situations and publications.

The overarching theme of interest is labor, work and the worker; what counts as work?

Through research processes, the border between the archive and life/art is often overcome, blurring the linear modern story of history, now and future.

She loves to collaborate and initiated Drömfabriken – det andra väveriet, in 2018 as a site-specific international platform within the Artist in residence program Future Utopia Community Key, (co-founded together with artist duo Bobrikova and de Carmen). Organised as a recurring get-together around the closed-down weaving factory, Dreamfactory – the other weaving mill invites anyone interested to delve into our relation to textile production. Perspectives and inspiration are shared through collective workshops, presentations, informal walks and talks. The platform connects people of different trade, practice and positions and can be seen as a resourse of pre-post-crisis-preparation.

Linnéa M. F. Larsson

Född 1980 i Eskilstuna.

Hon grundar sin konst i sin bakgrund som aktivist och relationen till den nedlagda textilindustrin i Uddebo; platsen hon verkat på i tio år. Hon söker sig till sammanhang som är historiskt och sociopolitiskt intressanta för att undersöka den förvirrade existensen i det globaliserade landskapet.

Genom personlig research och skrivande skissar hon fram social skulptur. Processerna genererar ofta performance, objekt och plattformar för samskapande och dialog. Verken ställer frågor om värde, ansvarsroller och vad som räknas som arbete.

I New Look as fair as possible, Modell Utan Gränser, Mantelrörelse samt Drömfabriken – det andra väveriet, möjliggörs dialog kring värdet i det textila som utvidgat begrepp.

I flera av hennes verk står priset i förgrunden, ett hanterande av pengar som en konst och performativ handling.

Hon finns representerad i Halmstad kommuns offentliga konstsamling med Hilma Hovstedt en politisk triptyk; tre ceremonier som ska återuppföras varje år under minst fem år.

Hon har en kandidatexamen i fri konst från HDK-Valand, Göteborgs universitet.
